Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India (HMSI) has recently launched their first sports tourer named VFR 1200F. Estimated to be available at a price range of Rs 17 lakh, the bike is powered by a 1237cc V4 engine and is equipped with both manual and automatic transmission.
Honda VFR1200F is a V4 sport touring motorcycle has already been showcased the Tokyo Motor Show.
According to the international sources from Honda, “The VFR1200F has been developed keeping in mind the previous VFRs; that have delivered a deadly combination of sports and touring capabilities with the latest technologies.” The V4 engine produces 172 bhp and a torque of 129Nm @ 8,750 rpm and weighs a heavy 267 kgs. Special enhancements have been added in this new engine with the rear cylinders being positioned closer together compared to the front cylinders, hence reducing the size and weight of the engine.
With improved quality and technologies, the bike offers a wide range of features that matches with the characteristics of a car. A highlight of the engine is its fantastic low-end torque. A dual clutch option offers paddle shifting opportunity that are usually available in cars these days.
The bike comes will be available to the bike lovers from the third week of August and in two colors, a candy prominence red and a seal silver metallic.
