It was time for people to know the in and out of being healthy, difference in the trend was that this time around it was meant for skin and hair.
World famous Blossom Kochhar who revolutionized the Indian approach towards makeup and hairstyling, to bring it to the level of International forum, held a workshop-/seminar at The Leela Mumbai. The main aim behind organizing this workshop was to create awareness among masses about the scientific and natural way of keeping the skin and hair healthy and glowing all the time.
The event witnessed a large number of fashion enthusiastic participating and trying to learn the art which sometimes people tend to take for granted at times.
Blossom Kochhar was fittingly supported by her daughter; Samantha Kochhar in demonstrating the skills to the audience and give them a hand on experience of the different set of skills that they posses. People from public were chosen to go through real time make over with different styling and make up which can always be noted on the dazzling shoots and alluring ramp shows giving the crowd a feel of the magic industry.
Samantha Kochhar, who is known to be the only one from India who specializes in MUD and Long Hair skills, duly obliged the crowd by applying the skills on them in real; now who wouldn’t want to be in that chair and sit with ease while the experts go from end to end about their art. It was once in lifetime know-how for general public and also for those who want to pursue their career in hair and skin treatment.
Skills were shown for different variance of bridal make-ups, haircuts, hair coloring and glam look. However, the art which fascinated the crowd the most was ‘Disconnection haircut’. Disconnection in a hair cut tends to give it a strong look that has more of an edge to the shape. Hairdressers often use disconnection to high light an area in the cut that is a different color to the rest or to create a feature piece. It is also a good way to retain thickness in very fine hair whilst moving between shorter and longer lengths. However, the point to remember is that it can only be done on straight hair but not on curly hair.
The senior of the Kochhar’s (Blossom) also demonstrated the glow creams which her the company owned by her manufactures. A decent crowd of aspiring students and professionals already working participated in the workshop who at the end of the event was awarded with the certificate of attending the workshop.
An eye candid experience for people, to see the makeovers and evaluate their skin, hair and grasp the measures to keep them in tune and in collaboration with the word ‘healthy’.
