Sanjay Kapoor was replete of good wishes for adding another feather to his already loaded cap for bringing in yet another Italian fashion marvel to the City of Dreams – Mumbai!
With the scent of paintwork still abound, Italian label- Etro finally opened its doors to India. Thanks to Genesis Colors! The store was a mélange of florescent hues – orange carpets made way for the boutique along with spacious settings for fashionable wanderers.
The display units were of a broad layout with many garments in pure visibility. A shelf set up hosted crisp shirts, along with an array of railed garbs which dominated the structure. With menswear being the core entity – tailored blazers stood apparent as well as felt trilbies and mustard waistcoats.
Amassed with fashionistas, actor, Harmun Baweja shared his thoughts on the collection, “I have been an Etro male for a while, it was such a pleasant surprise when I found out it was opening in Bombay. When I am traveling I am always looking out for this stuff. He added, “It stands out of the ordinary. It is retro in a way, but it is retro with the odd colours and designs, and when I say odd, I mean it in a nice way.”
Manasi Scott, Rocky S, Krishna Mehta, Anil Chopra, Vikram Raizada, Amruta Patki, Zeeba Kohli and others were seen catching up over the champagne soiree.
