She loves to flaunt the fusion of east and west in her garments but being deeply connected to handicraft city (West Bengal) she can’t resist trying on a beautiful sari and other Indian outfits and this is what the very beautiful Raima Sen was seen adorning recently. The beautiful lady strikes a pose in a Jaya Rathore creation at the designer’s workshop which will be revealed on the occasion of Eid.
The gorgeous lady was looking ravishing in an emerald green churidar kameez with a thick border adding feminity to the garment. The peacock and parrot motifs were the most astonishing factor about the line. So what factors were kept in mind while making the silhouette? “Raima's eyes are very expressive and the collection that we made for her completely enhances her eye colour and matches with her skin tone. Also when it comes to her body language, she has got that oomph within herself that it was little difficult to match her up but we managed it finally,” explains the designer.
Talking about the collection exclusively launched for the festival, she has experimented with festive colours. “This is the first time; I have introduced so many festive colours and varieties of embroidery. I have played with Resham, Paat, Swarovski and Kundan. Fabrics used are net, georgette, handloom etc. One would see a galore of colours, embroideries and silhouettes." Apart from that elegant lehanga. The collection also includes sarees & other outfits for the festive season which though looks heavy but it’s actually light weighted.
