A glimpse of some spectacular, contemporary designs was exhibited with a very engrossing fashion installation of live mannequins. Abhushan creates an interface through many platforms like seminar, exhibitions, glittering presentations and Craft Exchange Workshop. Miss Universe 2011, Xiemena Navarrete from Mexico also joined the inaugural to add to the aura to the sparkling event. The enriching events will have some glittering evening that brings three giants of the craft together. A glittering float ‘Inheritance’ held at the Austrian Ambassador’s residence will present the excellent jewellery craftsmanship by renowned jewelry designer Amrapali.

The concluding day will see jewellery kings, Ganjam presenting Vajra the Diamond - a dance interpretation highlighting the evolution of the diamond to be performed by Madhu Natraj at The Ashok along with a Buddhist dance group. Nina Kothari, chairperson, and Abhushan, “The program aims at creating an interactive moment when traditional, Indian crafts persons and experts will join their creative heads to analyze and apply a range of international design concepts taking the traditional form to a new, wearable realm.”

The event will have four distinct exhibitions: Seed to Silver Exhibition – As the name suggest it accentuates innovative transformations in jewellery from diverse material. The idea is to transform source (paper, plastic, wood, recycled material, metal, fiber) into exquisite pieces of jewelry. Craft Jewelry Bazaar will display contemporary jewellery designed from unconventional eco friendly materials like wire, natural fibers, wood, bead, and recycled materials. Abhushan Designer Gallery is a retail avenue with leading Indian contemporary fashion jewellery designer including Tarun Tahaliani, Sabyasachi Mukherjee and more. On the other hand, Jeweled Treasures also presents a retail avenue with leading Indian Jewellery designers in precious diamond and jadau jewellery. This segment includes Suhani Pittie, Tarang Arora from Amrapali, Umesh Ganjam from Ganjam, Biren Vaidya from Rose Jewelery and many more.
