Getting the right products for ‘cover up’ seems to be the biggest challenge. But why are celebs making such statements in the first place? Pallavi, Model says that very often stars are afraid of negative remarks and are subject to a constant scanner. She says, ’They try to please their fans in every way possible and try to connect with them too. Doing things like this they are just looking to get more acceptance.’ She also adds, ‘As models those who have great skin do venture out with just dabbed sunscreen, kajal and gloss. The rest like wearing light make-up daily to enhance their natural features and I don’t see any harm in doing so.’
Vipul Bhagat, makeup artist also feels that this trend is simply a better way to say that celebs use minimal make-up. He says,’ With liquid foundation we even out the skin and get rid of marks or acne. The trick is the way it is done. I have done a lot of beauty and cosmetic ads where we have created such looks. The only minutes that they are really without any make-up on is when we cleanse their face before applying makeup. This kind of make-up is light and doesn’t show at all unless seen minutely.’
We finally know the real secret and also how we can cheat others with these tricks. It’s time for nude make-up, ladies!
