Has your partner influenced your designing philosophy /style? What have you learnt from each other?
Priyanka: When you're working with someone for so long, it invariably influences you professionally and personally. I was more of a happy-go-lucky, craving creativity sort of a designer, but Ankur's always nudged me into being more practical and my designs more viable. I've learnt to be more balanced with my collections from him.
Ankur: Her sheer talent and work ethic is very infectious. It influences the whole team greatly. I've learnt to strive harder in every sphere of my life from her. That nothing comes on a platter and hard work always pays back!
What do you like the best about your partner?
Priyanka: That he's calm, composed and collected.
Ankur: Her determination and sense of humor!
What do you dislike about your partner/ wish you could change?
Priyanka: Very little. Maybe just his eating habits.
Ankur: Patience levels.
The most memorable fashion show you've ever done?
Priyanka: WLIFW SS 11. I was 8 months pregnant when we started it and had a two month old baby when we finally showed it!
Ankur: The same. Her mood swings were legendary!
Tell us one secret about your partner?
Priyanka: That he's crazy about video games!
Ankur: That she's quite a terror. Nobody believes me except people who work with us!
How does your partner deal with stress before a show?
Priyanka: Ankur doesn't show ANY stress. It might also be because of the fact that I'm going completely off the handle!
Ankur: She said it already!
