WORST OF THE WEEK

Anjali Kirpalani| 05 November 2011

It’s time for the list you’ve been waiting for all week! We were on the lookout for the worst dressed celebs this week and as always, didn’t have any difficulty in spotting them (from a mile away)...

Curtained: What is it with celebrities trying to hide their well toned bodies? If we were as fit as them, we’d want to flaunt! Last week it was Kangana and this week Maggie Gyllenhaal who showed up on the red carpet in a formless piece of cloth. If you have nothing to wear, don’t use the curtains, Maggie.

Holi hai: We know Holi isn’t any time soon but someone needs to tell Neil Nitin Mukesh this. He showed up in a shirt that included every colour imaginable with jeans that looked like they were purchased from a stall at Linking Rd, to a café launch in Mumbai. For once it was the camera that tried to avoid Neil instead of the other way around.

Gimme red: This seems to be Jared Leto’s mantra. The actor and musician blended perfectly with the red carpet and black standee behind him at an event last week. Red is hot but too much of a good thing is good for nothing, Jared...

Shoo: Neeru Bajwa is a regular fashion offender. And just when you think she’s got it right with a cute polka dress, you look at her shoes. The dress is already doing a lot of talking; she should have just let the shoes keep quiet.

Name dropper: Snoop Dogg hates it when people don’t know his name. To ensure that no one ever forgets it, he wore it as many places as he could. He takes his music very seriously. And you thought, ‘Who am I (What’s My Name)? was just a song to Snoop.
