Rihanna has assumed a more natural look for her latest album 'Talk That Talk' because she never wants to becomes a ''gimmick''.

The 'We Found Love' singer is renowned for having crazy, ever-changing hairstyles and colours and making outrageous music videos, but has decided to strip things back for her new album 'Talk That Talk' to focus on her singing.

In an interview on a U.S. radio show she said: "I kind of just wanted to scale back, instead of having a look. I didn't want to make it such a big deal, like what hair colour. I wanted to go back to something simple, something flexible; something a little more natural. It's more about the music.I don't want to become a gimmick, ever."

Speaking about her hair, she jokingly added: "Well, I ran out of colours so I decided to go back to my natural colour."

The 23-year-old star also said she thinks her latest single, 'You Da One', is "kind of dirty".

She added: "This is one of those records, it becomes very addictive. To me, it's very infectious: the more you listen to it, the more you want to listen to it. It had a reggae vibe, but it's a sweet little love letter. I love the record. It's kind of dirty, I love it."
