LAUNCH OF PLUS-IT
Mumbai, April 18: I've been in an haute huff ever since I received the much coveted invite to the stylish soiree celebrating the opening of Plus IT at Grand Hyatt Plaza [a young, edgy store offering Italian accessoires by GF Ferré, Extè, Just Cavalli and CNC Costume National] but could not make it there. So, I did the next best thing: I sent my posse there, though their bash-crashing bravado took a hit when they spied the line snaking a block past the boutique and the hordes of wardrobe worshippers crowding the velvet rope!

A product of an agreement between the partners of Group Fire [Gianfranco Lunette, Sanjay Dhir, Manoj Varma, Sukhi Johal and Varun Chabbra], the store was launched with a celeb-studded soiree. Everyone from fashion icons Narendra Kumar Ahmed, Aki Narula, Kunal Rawal and RockyS, to Kunal Kapoor and Dia Mirza, were there. Mayhem was breaking loose on the red carpet, and my posse rushed to see who was arriving amid the flashbulbs. Was it a Bollywood babe? A leggy model? Nope, the commotion was created by Kamal Sidhu with Karan Khanna on her arm! In fact, the supermodel`s arrival overshadowed the entrance of Suzanne Roshan. Looking stunning, she slipped in [with no entourage] and breezed over to exchange pleasantries with the hosts. Now, that`s a star. |

A second Plus IT store will be added immediately inside Select Citywalk, in New Delhi.The third Plus IT store will be launched around October in South Mumbai. Plus IT offers an exclusive range of accessories ranging from shoes, bags, belts and leather articles. |
